I want to hear from you. When you send me a message, I want your words in your voice — not the statistically average voice of the internet.

I want your actual opinion. An AI’s balanced overview of “key considerations” tells me nothing about what you think we should do.

Effort keeps messages short. Writing by hand takes work, so humans naturally get to the point. Generated text is free to produce and expensive to read — you’ve moved the effort from you to me.

I can’t trust it. Did you check every claim in there? The first invented detail I find makes me doubt the whole message, and the next one too.

You can’t stand behind it. If I push back on paragraph three, am I discussing it with you or with a model? Send only what you’re prepared to own.

If I wanted an AI answer, I’d ask an AI. I have the same chatbots you do. The one thing you can send that I can’t generate myself is you.

It ends in absurdity. You inflate two sentences into six paragraphs; I paste them into an AI to shrink them back down. Two robots talking while we both wait.

Using AI to research, brainstorm, outline, translate, or check your grammar. Great — that’s input. Then close the tab and write the message yourself, with your own words, at whatever length you actually mean.
